We’re here at the 2016 SHOT Show to check out all the industry has to offer for 2016, but with so much to check out, let’s get right to what some of the top brands have to offer.
Zeiss
Zeiss had two new offerings of note for 2016 – a new intutive rifle scope and two models of ultra-compact binoculars. up first, the Victory V8 features an illuminated reticle that has two power on modes. The first mode requires a click on the power button that enables motion activated power saving, and when the scope is sat down or remains inactive for a time, the reticle powers down. There is also the traditional on/off mode that is enabled by pressing the button down.
The Terra ED Pocket binoculars are a very cool addition to anyone who is short on space or looking for very minimal binocular weight. These binoculars clock in at just 10oz and fit in the palm of your hand. You can get them in both 8×25 and 10×25.
Blade Tech
Blade Tech announced an update on their Classic Series designs with the Signature Series OWB, SMP and DMP. This update features tougher polymers and a streamlined design, and the Signature Series starts at $49.99 MSRP for the holster and $29.99 for the single mag holder.
Taurus
Taurus had two of their new pistol lines on display for SHOT this year. First is the popular Curve with the unique curved edge styling and integrated LaserLyte laser sight. They were also showing off the TCP W/wings, all were in 380 Auto.
Walther
Walther is making a big push with their new PPQ45 at a reasonable $469. Some highlights of this new design include an “American style” mag release and an ergonomic grip with distinct ridges that really increase handling.
Geissele
