Springfield Armory has rolled out 16 new SAINT Victor models for 2025, and they’ve made some substantial changes to address previous user concerns while upgrading key components.
What’s New with the Springfield Saint Victor 2
The core of the new Saint Victor 2 remains the same forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers, but now with cleaner government-style minimalist markings and the Accu-Tite tension system for better receiver fit.
The biggest changes center around three areas: improved reliability features, premium component upgrades, and expanded model options.
The biggest upgrade is, of course, the ambidextrous Radian Raptor-LT charging handle. This fixes one of the main complaints about the original series – the previous GI style charging handle hadn’t much to grip on and, thus, was one of the first parts to get upgraded from.
The new Saint Victor models also use 4150 CMV barrels with continuous tapered profiles for better heat distribution and rigidity as well as crowned muzzles. The nitride finish ensures better durability, and taper-pinned gas blocks eliminate the set screws that could work loose over time. The BCG features an M16-pattern carrier, a 9310 carpenter steel bolts with nitride finishing, HP/MPI tested, as well as a hard-chromed firing pin and a properly staked gas key.
The aluminum free-float rail now includes a full-length Picatinny top rail (like the premium Saint Edge AR-15 rifles) with T-slot markings and extensive M-LOK coverage. Moreover, seven QD attachment points throughout the rifle provide multiple sling configuration options.
All Saint Victor rifle models (except CA-compliant versions) come standard with B5 Systems Enhanced SOPMOD stocks and Type 23 P-Grip pistol grips. The Saint Victor pistol models get SB Tactical SBA3 braces. This is a notable upgrade from the basic mil-spec furniture on some original models.
Finally, the previous muzzle brake was replaced by the four-prong flash hider (pinned and welded on 14” 5.56mm model).
Additional features include:
- The 45-degree ambidextrous safety selector provides faster transitions between safe and fire positions.
- The low-profile aluminum flip-up sights sit lower than the originals and ensure better optics compatibility.
- The nickel boron-coated trigger has a flat face with 4.5-5 lb pull weight which is reliable for duty use without being overly light for defensive applications.

Saint Victor 2025 Model Lineup Breakdown
The lineup now includes ten 5.56 NATO models and six 7.62 NATO models, covering everything from 11.5-inch AR pistols to 20-inch rifles. Notable additions include a unique 14-inch pinned-and-welded carbine and both 16-inch and 20-inch options in 7.62 NATO.
The 5.56mm lineup includes:

- 14″ pinned and welded carbines with mid-length gas systems
- Standard 16″ carbines in Black, Coyote Brown, and Tungsten Gray with mid-length gas systems

- 20” model with rifle-length gas system
California-compliant models feature Strike Industries finned grips and fixed Magpul stocks to meet state requirements.

Price and Value
Pricing runs $1,249-$1,279 for 5.56mm models and $1,649-$1,689 for 7.62mm variants. That’s roughly $100 more than the original series, but the upgraded components justify the increase.
The Radian charging handle alone retails for around $90, and the B5 Systems furniture adds another $100+ in value. You’re essentially getting professional-grade components at near-entry-level pricing.
