SHOT Show 2025 is here, and with it comes a flood of fresh pistols to check out. For those of you thinking about picking up a new concealed carry or duty pistol this year, we’ve got you covered. Whether you’re after a high-end tactical handgun or a micro-compact design, these practical pistols from SHOT Show 2025 are worth a closer look!
Staccato HD P4 & P4.5: New Iteration of High-End 2011 Pistols
Staccato also has something interesting to offer for the 2025. Building on their famous 2011, they introduce the all-new HD series with two pistols—the Staccato HD P4 and HD P4.5.
First up, the Staccato HD P4. With a 4-inch bull barrel and a full-size steel frame, this pistol is built for both duty and carry. The redesigned polymer grip module is a standout feature—it’s slimmer, more comfortable in hand, and compatible with Glock magazines. Also, forget the old grip safety found on earlier Staccato models like the P and CS; the HD series now uses an active firing pin block safety. For even more ergonomic feel overall, the pistol features a higher beavertail, aggressive slide serrations, and support-thumb index points.
The P4 also comes ready for red-dot optics thanks to Staccato’s HOST system. The direct-mount design ensures a secure fit with longer screws and a lower optic profile. The updated recoil system, featuring a flat-wire buffered spring, contributes to a smoother firing. And, of course, ambidextrous controls.
The HD P4.5 is a full-size variant built for competitive shooting. The core feature is its 4.5-inch sight block barrel engineered to reduce muzzle flip. The sight block keeps the front iron sight stationary during recoil, which make the pistol more stable. Despite the longer barrel, it uses a shorter slide for faster cycling time. As a result, you get a competition-grade performance in a duty package.
The Staccato HD P4 hits the shelves in just a few days with a $2,499 MSRP, while the HD P4.5 is set to launch in spring 2025 at $2,699.

EAA/Girsan Witness2311 Brat: Affordable 2011 Pistol
The EAA/Girsan Witness2311 Brat is a fresh addition to the Witness2311 lineup, designed specifically for everyday carry. This compact, double-stack 1911-style pistol (essentially, a 2011 pistol) trims the Witness2311 platform down to a lightweight Officer-sized frame for easier concealment.
The Brat is available in two calibers—.45 ACP with an 11+1 capacity and 9mm Luger with 17+1 rounds for more firepower. Falling into the compact pistol category, It features a 3.4-inch barrel, which does add some noticeable recoil, especially in .45 ACP. But that’s the tradeoff for its smaller size. To counteract the shorter barrel’s effect on accuracy, EAA outfitted the Brat with a bull barrel, helping provide a bit of extra precision.
Feature-wise, the Brat offers Novak-style low-profile 3-dot sights, a flared and removable magwell for faster reloads, a skeletonized hammer and trigger, and an accessory rail to add a light or laser. The extended beavertail and well-textured grip ensure better control while firing, and the dual safeties—a grip safety and ambidextrous thumb safety—boost handling confidence. Plus, it ships with two magazines, so you’re ready to roll from the get-go.
Prices at $680, the EAA Girsan Witness2311 Brat is a perfect entry pistol for those who want to experience the 2011 platform. That said, if your focus is on range shooting or home defense, you might want to check out EAA’s full-size Witness2311 pistols instead.

KelTec PR57: A Top-Loading 5.7 Pistol
KelTec continues pushing the boundaries of modern gun making with its bold, innovative designs. The PR57 is a polymer concealed carry pistol in the 5.7x28mm that is… clip-loaded. That’s right, clip, not magazine. It uses the internal top-loading design instead of the traditional detachable magazine like the Mauser C96. This allows the PR57 to hold 20 rounds in its grip and still maintain quite a slim profile. To load the pistol, users can insert rounds manually or use the 10-round stripper clips that come with the pistol. The top-loading design not only keeps the PR57 slim but also lightweight—just 13.86 ounces unloaded.
But there’s more than just its clever loading system. The KelTec PR57 features a rotary barrel that lowers the bore axis, increasing durability and improving balance. The curved double-action trigger has a long yet manageable 4.5-pound pull, making it easy to control. Plus, there’s an accessory rail for mounting lights or lasers, and the included optics plate is compatible with popular RMSc footprint optics like the Holosun 507K, EPS, Leupold Delta Point Pro, and the Viridian RFX11 designed just for the PR57.
The KelTec PR57, offered at $399 MSRP, is definitely one of the most unique gun releases for 2025. Lightweight, well-designed, and practical, this pistol is already making waves.

Ruger RXM: Modular Glock-Style Pistol
Ruger and Magpul have teamed up to create the Ruger RXM, a modular Glock 19 style pistol. Designed to hold its own in the highly competitive market of polymer-frame striker-fired handguns, the RXM introduces several features that aim to make it stand out from other Glock clones.
First of all, the RXM features a removable Fire Control Insert (FCI), similar to what we’ve seen in guns like the SIG P320 and Springfield Echelon. This serialized component lets you switch seamlessly between full-size and compact grip frames without needing to buy a whole new gun.

The RXM also stands out for its ergonomic design and optics-ready features. Equipped with the Magpul Enhanced Handgun Grip, the pistol offers a textured, thick grip that enhances control and comfort during extended use. The undercut trigger guard and extended beavertail allow for a high, confident grip, improving recoil management. The controls are intuitive, with a refined mag release. Additionally, its optics-ready slide accommodates popular footprints such as RMR and RMSc, while the included steel sights with Tritium inserts provide easy co-witnessing.
To top it off, the RXM is compatible with most Gen 3 Glock parts, including magazines and holsters, making it easy to integrate into setups you may already have.
Priced at an approachable $499 MSRP, the Ruger RXM is a budget-friendly high-performance choice for anyone in the market for a concealed carry pistol in 2025.
